Born out of the ideas and experience of two creatives Mandisa and NgoniTapiwa, Gilbert's House has evolved into a Creative Network that facilitatesfor the Exchange of Cultural Ideas and experiences.
Our work involves the Development of Cultural Events, Arts Skills and Creative Business Skills.
Gilbert's House also serves as cultural narrative creator using creativity and art to weavecommunity stories and promote cultural expression.

Established in Gaborone in 2016 and operating in Maun since 2018, theorganisation has been involved curating poetry and music events, artistworkshops as well as regional cultural exchanges for creatives of differentdisciplines.
Our strength rests in our local and regional network and ability tocreate and curate programmes and activities that entertain, educate and give aplatform to community voices. We have also been active in nurturing a newgeneration of creative/cultural narrators, activists and artists through ourWord Nerds Club.
